 Belgium picked up a draw against Greece on Thursday, the 3rd of June when they met for an
 international friendly. Dortmund's Thorgan Hazard (20') whose season was hampered by injuries had put Belgium in the lead mid-way through the first-half before Giorgos Tzavellas (66') leveled the score-line after the break. 1-1! It finished. 



The draw leaves Belgium unbeaten in six games across all international competitions: WWWDWD. This will be the final friendly before Belgium's first appearance at the Euro 2020 on Saturday, the 12th of June when they take on Russia. Coach Roberto Martinez has been managing Belgium since the 3rd of August 2016 and has led them to 42 victories in 55 games: 42W, 9D & 4L. Roberto Martinez 26-man list saw the likes of Michy Batshuayi (Crystal Palace) and Romelu Lukaku (Inter Milan) feature in the game against Greece



. On Sunday both are expected to feature once again in Roberto Martinez's 3—4—3 formation before the game comes to an end. Meanwhile, Kevin De Bruyne is set to miss the Euro 2020 after the injury he picked up against Chelsea in the Champions League final on May 29.

 

 


 



Croatia were denied a victory on Tuesday the 1st of June after they were held to a draw by Armenia. A goal from Wbeymar Angulo Mosquera (72') saw the game end 1-1 after Croatia failed to restore their lead. Inter Milan's Ivan Perisic (24') had put the Croatians in the lead before the equalizer. After this international friendly, Croatia's next appearance will be against England at the Euro 2020 which kicks off on Friday the 11th of June 2021. 




Croatia will meet England on the 13th of June for their first tie of the tournament. Coach Zlatko Dalić has named his 26-man squad and this tie would be a fine opportunity to make his final selection for the fixture against England. A 4—3—3 formation is expected when Croatia lines up against Belgium on Sunday.
 

Belgium defeated Croatia, 2-1 in the last meeting between both countries on the 11th of October, 2013. A year earlier in September 2012, the tie ended in a 1-1 draw. Before that fixture, Croatia defeated Belgium by a lone goal on the 3rd of March 2010.


A 2-1 victory for Belgium is predicted at full-time.
