Euro 2020 - Group D tie, England vs. Croatia kicks off at 14:00 (GMT+1) on Sunday, the 13th of June, at Wembley Stadium.



England remains unbeaten in the last six games across all competitions with six wins in a row: WWWWWW
. On the 6th of June, the Three Lions defeated Romania by a lone goal. After hitting the woodwork twice, England eventually took the lead when Marcus Rashford (68' P.) scored from the penalty spot after a foul in the box. Later on, 



England failed to double their lead as Liverpool's Jordan Henderson failed to convert from the spot when the Three Lions were awarded another penalty. England's manager, Gareth Southgate was sweating over his final 26-man selection, but eventually dropped Manchester United's Jessie Lingard, who was on loan at West Ham in the just concluded season, 



Southampton's James Ward-Prowse and Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins. Gareth Southgate will be with Borussia Dortmund's Jude Bellingham, Mason Mount of Chelsea and Phil Foden who played a huge part in Manchester City's Premier League success in the just concluded season. Southgate will be looking to get England to at least the semi-finals of Euro 2020. On Sunday, 



an attacking 4—2—3—1 formation is expected with Harry Kane or Dominic Calvert-Lewin leading the attack. Trent Alexander-Arnold picked up an injury in the 1–0 friendly win over Austria and was replaced in the squad by Brighton & Hove Albion's Ben White.









Zlatko Dalić's Croatia failed to pick up a win in the international friendly match against Belgium as they lost by a lone goal on the 6th of June. - Leaving Croatia with three defeats in six games across all international competitions: LLWWDL. Zlatko Dalić took charge of Croatia in 2017 and has 22W, 7D & 14L after 43 games. The 54-year-old has named a 26-man squad which includes Mateo Kovačić of Chelsea, Luka Modrić of Madric and the Scudetto title-winning duo of Inter Milan, Marcelo Brozović and Ivan Perišić. An attacking 3—4—3 formation is expected when Croatia makes their first appearance at the UEFA Euro 2020 this Sunday.




England defeated Croatia 2-1 in their last meeting – on the 18th of November, 2018.  A month before that fixture, both countries had played a goalless draw. On the 11th of July of the same year, it was Croatia that picked up the 2-1 victory.


A 2-1 win for England is predicted at full-time.
